The New Way of Life Institute, Inc.,
is a not-for-profit Florida entity that has been
organized as
a faith-based
organization
to operate exclusively for public benefit
and charitable purposes, within the scope of Section
501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and as such
serves as an umbrella organization
for the numerous
ministry
components of the New Way of Life
Institute, Inc. for the community at large.
The purpose of the New Way of Life Institute (NWOL)
is to provide educational information to men and
women who are learning how to live life in a new
way, so they can continue learning how to use the
tools that have worked for others. The NWOL primary
function is to motivate, educate and empower people
to live a new way of life. The organization has been
functioning locally and has maintained an active
online presence since October 7, 2004. The NWOL was
officially founded, organized and filed for legal
status on Sept. 4, 2007, however, the organization
has been hosting classes and workshops and holding
regular special gatherings since Oct. 7, 2006. Since
its official founding, the NWOL has held weekly
meetings and events in and around Hollywood,
Florida. Some of the services to be offered under
its structure are the
Hope Center which will be the home base
for the following components:

The Next Step Recovery (NSR)
clubhouse's purpose is to provide a place where persons
recovering from
chemical dependency or other addictive
behaviors; as well as members of their families, and
others interested in recovery can meet like-minded
people who share similar interests.
We believe that a comfortable, nurturing environment is
important for our members’ success in recovery. And we
also believe that spiritual, mental, and physical
wellness are necessary for the transition to a new way
of life. NSR is designed to provide a haven and refuge
from the stresses of the outside world. It is also a
place where fellowship, education, and other activities
that foster recovery are found.

This service component
functions by training energy empowerment facilitators to
host
OjimaReiki
Energy Empowerment and Recovery
Reiki
Circles, and monthly
gatherings.
The way
that the
founders of the
OjimaReiki
Academy
(Gilbert and Mary Lou) practice personal
empowerment is by introducing you to the next level of
awareness. Many in our community are discovering that
acceptance and spirituality go hand-in-hand. H*O*P*E means
Helping Others Practice Empowerment. We do this by building
strong bonds on a solid foundation that is strengthened by
community spirit and group conscience.
Through
simple techniques and tools, participants learn to relate,
relax and contemplate, focusing only on unconditional love
and transformative energy. All that is required to
participate is a desire to be honest, open-minded and
willing to take your life to the next level!
